FAQ

Which apps does it work with?

Any MCP client: Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed and more. One endpoint URL works in all of them — that's the product.

Is it free?

Yes — open beta, full core, no card. At public launch Pro is planned at $7/mo and your memory carries over untouched. Export is free on every plan, forever.

Where does my data live?

In PackWolf's managed Postgres (EU, Frankfurt). Every record is visible, editable and exportable. Your memory is isolated per account and served only to requests carrying your key.

I lost my key / my key leaked

Dashboard → Reset API key. The old URL stops working immediately; paste the new one into your clients.

Does my AI save everything I say?

No. PackWolf is semi-automatic by design: the assistant proposes what's worth keeping ("should I remember this?") and you confirm. No silent hoarding.

Slack / Discord?

They aren't MCP clients, so not yet — a bot interface to the same memory core is on the roadmap, alongside connectors that distill meetings into memory with your approval.
